For the month of May, our Tango in Bend instructors will be teaching classes dedicated to the MIlonga style of Tango. This rhythmic, grounded dance style

Milonga is a rhythmic, grounded, and playful dance style that preceded tango, characterized by a rapid rhythm, small steps, and an inviting embrace. Rooted in the 19th-century Afro-Argentine community, it focuses on quick footwork, syncopation (traspié), and constant, smooth, and, at times, rotational movement around the dance floor.
